Welcome to ecoTV-18, Eagle County's government access television station, your best source for news and information about Eagle County Government.
Of course Denver, with a population of more than half-a-million, has one. But so do some really small Colorado communities: Durango, population 15,500, and Erie, population 12,300. They all have government access television stations. In fact, more than 19 states and 2,800 communities nationwide have government access television stations. Why? Because elected officials in those communities recognize the importance of communicating with their constituents. As our population tops 50,000 and continues to grow, Eagle County has recognized the importance of better communication with residents as well. Our government access station, ecoTV-18, is on the air on both Comcast and CenturyTel cable systems.
